About Me

My photo
I've been into dollhouse miniatures since the early 1990's now and when I realized how much I've learned during that time, I thought I'd make a blog to share my knowledge with others. I'm mostly auto-deduct, but always found help on the Internet and in specific books. The mini-world starts and ends with your own imagination, so let there be no limit. And never say : I CAN'T .... because you can, you just need to try and have the necessary know-how. And that's the main reason why I started this blog, because I wanna share what I know with newbies in the miniature world or anybody else who might be interested in sharing what I've learned so far. So, hopefully, I'll be able to provide some useful hints, tips and tricks for those of you out there just starting with this wonderful hobby

My French Bakery : Making the Bread

Hi you mini lovers

In addition to updating all my older posts about my French Bakery, today I want to add a post on how I made the bread and share a few pictures on how it looks

Before I got started, I thought that I would never be able to make these without a mold, so I purchased one on Etsy and these are the pieces (before baking) as they came out of the mold

(In the LINKS section, I added the link to the Etsy shop where I got the mold, but there are so many wonderful things in that shop, please go have a look)

But then I made my own ..... even added some real seeds to some

please don't be too strickt when juding me ... this was my first try at making bread

and more

and here they are after baking

now that I look at the pictures again after so many years, I think they really turned out OK

Added some seeds to these

Enough to fill a few shelves and baskets

Sorting out everything

The finished shelf with all the different bread sorts

looking yummie

French baguette .... a MUST in a french bakerey,
they are famous for having the best baguettes in the world

Sorting out what goes in the baskets and what goes in the shelves

Even used real flower for my baguettes

I can only imagine the wonderful smell when customers enter my bakery with all that bread freshly baked ...... hhhmmmmm

I made this basket and filled it with the buns made with the mold

And a last one .... just for fun
