About Me

My photo
I've been into dollhouse miniatures since the early 1990's now and when I realized how much I've learned during that time, I thought I'd make a blog to share my knowledge with others. I'm mostly auto-deduct, but always found help on the Internet and in specific books. The mini-world starts and ends with your own imagination, so let there be no limit. And never say : I CAN'T .... because you can, you just need to try and have the necessary know-how. And that's the main reason why I started this blog, because I wanna share what I know with newbies in the miniature world or anybody else who might be interested in sharing what I've learned so far. So, hopefully, I'll be able to provide some useful hints, tips and tricks for those of you out there just starting with this wonderful hobby

My French Bakery : A glimpse of the outside almost finished

Hello my mini friends

I've been busy as you see ...... the bakery looks very good so far and I can almost see the juicy cakes and smell the fresh bread that will soon fill it

hhhmmmmmm

😺😺😺

The exterior really starts to take shape. The roof is not done yet, because I haven't made up my mind yet whether I'm gonna add the roof or whether it's gonna be a roof-top terrace. We'll see 😎

The outside colors are not the same for the lower and upper floor and as you can imagine I did this on purpose. As always, I like to play around with mixing colors.

The windows look more blue in the picture, but they are in fact lavender.

I guess making the interior will take quite a bit longer since I'm doing to make all the furniture myself, but that's the fun part, isn't it ?

The tea room upstairs will probably have comfy seats for my customers to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a cupcake, instead of simple chairs

So, as usual, there's more to come, stay tuned

See ya
