About Me

My photo
I've been into dollhouse miniatures since the early 1990's now and when I realized how much I've learned during that time, I thought I'd make a blog to share my knowledge with others. I'm mostly auto-deduct, but always found help on the Internet and in specific books. The mini-world starts and ends with your own imagination, so let there be no limit. And never say : I CAN'T .... because you can, you just need to try and have the necessary know-how. And that's the main reason why I started this blog, because I wanna share what I know with newbies in the miniature world or anybody else who might be interested in sharing what I've learned so far. So, hopefully, I'll be able to provide some useful hints, tips and tricks for those of you out there just starting with this wonderful hobby

GROSVENOR HALL

Hi and welcome (back) to my blog

Well, this is my all-time favourite dollhouse ... it was a gift from my husband and it took me 2 1/2 years to complete it

But, is a dollhouse ever finished ? No, I don't think so, but nevertheless, it's time to share some pictures and so I decided to add this post to my blog to share a few of them

I 've probably made a few hundred pictures of this house, from the day the boxes came until the day it was finished

A few months ago, I had quite a bad surprise with my beloved GROSVENOR HALL ... a tiny little mouse inhabited it and made a real mess inside

I had to throw away many things and make or eventually buy new ones, but it's all good now and believe me, all doors are now constantly closed, even glued, so that no more inhabitants can get inside

Here are a few pics showing the outside of the house

and a few to give a quick look at the inside

I will be posting more pics of each room individually, so please come back soon for a visit and a tour of my Grosvenor Hall Dollhouse

See ya

  3. Dany, I am so happy that you will be posting individual pics of the rooms because although I have watched it on You Tube, it goes too quickly and I like to examine every little detail. Looking forward to this. So sorry that you had visitors. It must have been a lot of work to clean up everything. Hope you did not have to replace too many things.

    1. Hi Lucille .... well I must admit the visitor, as small as he was, made a lot of damage, but everything could be either replacd or repaired, so don't worry ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„
