About Me

My photo
I've been into dollhouse miniatures since the early 1990's now and when I realized how much I've learned during that time, I thought I'd make a blog to share my knowledge with others. I'm mostly auto-deduct, but always found help on the Internet and in specific books. The mini-world starts and ends with your own imagination, so let there be no limit. And never say : I CAN'T .... because you can, you just need to try and have the necessary know-how. And that's the main reason why I started this blog, because I wanna share what I know with newbies in the miniature world or anybody else who might be interested in sharing what I've learned so far. So, hopefully, I'll be able to provide some useful hints, tips and tricks for those of you out there just starting with this wonderful hobby

DIY : Fill the Bedroom Closet

Hi

As you might know by now, I have this thing about adding details to my dollhouses.
Some items may be hidden to the eye of the viewer, but I know they are there and that's what matters
Like the bedroom closet or wardrobe .... it just can't be left empty, even the doors are rarely or maybe never opened.

It would juste drive me crazy to know that I spend so much time on making that furniture look good and then just leave it empty

And by the way ..... I have people living in my dollhouses and they need something to wear !!!!!!

And on top of it, it is fairly easy to simulate clothes or bedding, whatever you'll need, neatly folded together in your wardrobe, bedroom shelf or any other place where you want to put them.

All you need are a few leftover pieces of fabric (preferably dollhouse size fabric, or uni-colored). Measure the width and depth of the shelf compartments and fold (and glue) your fabric to simply give it the look of nicely folded clothes

Bye Bye for now

See ya
