DIY Food (Polymer Clay) : Cakes and Cake Stands

You know, once I had made so many cakes, tarts, etc for my bakery, one big question came up :

won't I need cake stand ??

So I checked out a few tutorials (Pinterest, Youtube, etc.) in order to get ideas on how to make my own and I gave it a try .... I think they turned out quite nicely

These cake stand are made with some metal beads, jewellery findings and with polymer clay and molds I made myself (out of old buttons .... see, never thrown old things away, they might be useful one day) and of course cake cutters for the different shapes

There are easier ways to make your own cakestands, but I went for this one and it was a really fun project which I enjoyed very much
