About Me

My photo
I've been into dollhouse miniatures since the early 1990's now and when I realized how much I've learned during that time, I thought I'd make a blog to share my knowledge with others. I'm mostly auto-deduct, but always found help on the Internet and in specific books. The mini-world starts and ends with your own imagination, so let there be no limit. And never say : I CAN'T .... because you can, you just need to try and have the necessary know-how. And that's the main reason why I started this blog, because I wanna share what I know with newbies in the miniature world or anybody else who might be interested in sharing what I've learned so far. So, hopefully, I'll be able to provide some useful hints, tips and tricks for those of you out there just starting with this wonderful hobby

DIY Kitchen Canisters

Thanks to Michaela for posting this tutorial .... check out her blog, she makes fantastic miniatures

here are my little kitchen canisters, made with wooden dowels, some printed paper (which I also made myself), a few small beads for decoration and easily bendable wire

I wanted a shabby chic look for my canisters, and floral patterns as well as dotted paper are perfect to achieve that look.

I also found these cute printable labels which are also perfect for my canisters.

Check out this link :

Some ended up here, to add life to my kitchen in the "Dorfpuppenhaus"

  1. Hi Dany,
I followed the website above for printables and saved a bunch on Pinterest. Love them. Thanks so much. You can also get miniprintables on smallstuff-request@smallstuffarchives.com. There are a number of things you can click on but somehow I get to the printables. You may be familiar with this site, but thought I'd let you know, just in case.
